Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sneaky Pete Spirits, LLC (“Sneaky Pete Spirits,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit pedrofurtivo.com (the “Site”), the website of Pedro Furtivo Tequila. It applies only to this Site. Purchases happen on the Sneaky Pete Spirits shop and at licensed retailers, under their own policies.

The short version: we collect what you choose to send us through our forms and newsletter, plus the basic technical data every website receives. We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers, and we don’t sell your personal information.

1.Who we are

Sneaky Pete Spirits, LLC, 670 Trabert Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA, operates the Site and is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at sales@sneakypetespirits.com.

2.For adults of legal drinking age only

The Site is meant only for people who are 21 or older and of legal drinking age where they live. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

3.What we collect

Information you give us:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
  • Event inquiry form: your name, email address, the event date, the estimated number of guests, the location and, if you add them, your organization and a message.
  • Newsletter (Letters from the estate): your email address and your consent to receive it.
  • Anything else you choose to include when you write to us.

Information collected automatically:

  • Technical data every website receives: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the page that referred you and the date and time. Our hosting provider records it in server logs used for security and to keep the Site running.
  • Spam protection: when you submit a form, your IP address and a one-way hash of your email address are counted in short-lived limits that stop floods of messages. These counters expire on their own within 24 hours. The forms also use ALTCHA, a spam check that solves a small calculation in your browser; it sets no cookies and doesn’t track you.

We don’t ask for your date of birth, payment details or government identifiers on this Site.

4.Cookies and similar technologies

We keep this to a minimum:

  • Age confirmation: when you confirm you are 21 or older, your browser keeps a small note in its local storage so we don’t ask on every visit. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing the Site’s data in your browser removes it.
  • Language: if you switch between English and Spanish, a cookie called NEXT_LOCALE remembers your choice until you close your browser.
  • Video: our Origin Story film is hosted on YouTube and loads only when you press play, from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (https://www.youtube-nocookie.com). Once you play it, YouTube (Google) may collect information under its own privacy policy.

We don’t use analytics, advertising, or social media tracking cookies or pixels. Because we don’t track you across websites, we don’t respond differently to Do Not Track signals. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information, which we don’t do in any case.

5.How we use your information

  • To answer your messages and event inquiries, and to plan tastings, dinners and other events with you.
  • To send the newsletter you signed up for, starting with a welcome email. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
  • To comply with the law, including the rules on alcohol advertising and marketing, and to protect our rights and the rights of others.

We don’t use your information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we don’t sell it or share it for targeted advertising.

6.Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run the Site and respond to you:

  • Service providers that work on our behalf: Vercel (hosting, content delivery, video storage and server logs), Resend (delivering form messages and newsletter emails, and keeping the newsletter list) and, when enabled, Upstash (the database behind the spam limits). They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Our team and affiliated companies: the people at Sneaky Pete Spirits and its affiliates who handle sales, events and marketing for Pedro Furtivo.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when the law, a subpoena or other legal process requires it, or when we believe it’s needed to protect the rights, property or safety of anyone.
  • Business changes: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction and stay protected by this policy.

When you follow a link to the Sneaky Pete Spirits shop, a retailer, or our Instagram, Facebook or YouTube pages, you leave the Site and their privacy policies apply.

7.How long we keep it

  • Messages and event inquiries: as long as needed to respond and follow up, and as reasonably required for our business records; then we delete them.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a record that you unsubscribed, so we don’t email you again.
  • Spam limit counters: they expire on their own within 24 hours.
  • Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its retention settings.

8.Security

We use reasonable safeguards: the Site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are checked and limited, and access to the accounts that hold your information is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

9.Your choices and rights

  • Newsletter: unsubscribe at any time with the link in any of our emails.
  • Access, correction and deletion: write to sales@sneakypetespirits.com and we’ll respond within the time the law requires, usually 45 days.
  • Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other US states with privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, of sharing for targeted advertising, and of profiling. We don’t sell or share personal information, and we won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights.
  • You may use an authorized agent. Before acting on a request we may need to verify your identity, for example by confirming the email address you used with us. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision; if you’re still not satisfied, you may contact your state’s attorney general.

10.Visitors outside the United States

The Site is operated from the United States. Your information is processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

11.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we’ll post a notice on the Site and, if you receive our newsletter, let you know by email.
